- What are these notes for?
- They are the explanations we would otherwise give twice a week on the phone, written down once. Each takes one symptom and sets out what it usually means, what it sometimes means, and which of those is cheap to rule out first. They are about refrigeration and nothing else.
- Do the notes quote real prices?
- They quote the same bands as every other page: the $80 visit, then the band the work lands in, from $250–$650 for a door seal up to $870–$2,460 for sealed-system repair. No note invents a figure, and none of them is a quote for your cabinet.
