Warranty

What the warranty covers

Labour is warranted for 90 days and parts for 365 days from the date of the repair. Genuine OEM parts are used throughout, so the replacement matches what the cabinet left the line with.

Sealed-system work is the part of this trade that has to be warranted in writing.

  • Transferable Yes It follows the appliance, not the owner.
Scope

Covered, and not covered

Covered

  • The part we fitted, if it fails inside 365 days of the repair.
  • Our labour on that repair, if the same fault returns inside 90 days.
  • The return visit itself. There is no second diagnostic fee when the fault is one we already charged you for.

Not covered

  • A different fault in the same cabinet. A failed evaporator fan does not cover a later door heater failure — that is a new diagnosis.
  • Parts you supplied, or parts fitted by someone else before or after us.
  • Damage from a power event, a flood, physical impact, or a cabinet run with its condenser blocked after we have told you in writing to clear it.
  • Wear items consumed in normal use — water filters and light bulbs among them.
  • Anything on an appliance made by someone other than Sub-Zero. We do not work on those at all.

How to claim

Call during working hours and say it is a warranty return. We keep the job record, so the part number, the date and the technician are already on file — you do not need to produce paperwork. We book it like any other visit and no fee is taken.

Worth knowing

If the cabinet is still young

Hibernia Cold Systems is an independent shop, so the warranty on this page is ours and ours alone. It sits alongside whatever cover Sub-Zero gives the appliance itself, and it neither extends nor replaces it.

If your unit is new enough that the manufacturer's own cover may still be running, check that first — the terms are in the owner's literature and tied to the serial number. Work done by an independent shop can affect how the maker treats a later claim, and you should know that before we start rather than after. We will tell you on the phone if the age of the cabinet makes it worth a call to Sub-Zero instead of a visit from us.

You get a written estimate before any part is ordered or any labour is billed. Nothing proceeds without your approval.
